Sequent Physicians Can Now Refer to Privia Virtual Clinic

Sequent physicians can now refer patients seeking care after-hours to Privia Virtual Clinic. This telehealth service is available to all Sequent physicians through the recent alliance between Sequent and Privia Care Partners.
Privia Virtual Clinic is an on-demand telehealth service available to patients 24/7/365 when their PCP is unavailable. All patients are referred back their PCP for follow-up care. Privia Virtual Care providers do not maintain long-term established relationships with patients.
Virtual care is provided by either a physician or an advanced practice provider (APP) that is employed by Privia Medical Group. During a virtual visit, patients will be asked the name of their PCP. Following the visit, PCPs will receive a notice that their patient was seen followed by a copy of the Visit Care Summary.
Privia Virtual Clinic accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Self-pay patients are responsible for a flat $95 copay for all virtual visits.
Accessing Privia Virtual Clinic
To refer a patient to Privia Virtual Clinic, patients can go to sequentphysicians.com and click the heading Patients then Privia Virtual Clinic. Patients are able to see a Privia provider on a secure video conference from their mobile device, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone.
